Thalassa Project
CEM Colom becomes the host venue for a major nationwide research project that brings together mental health, science, and physical activity.
At our facilities, the Aquatic Physical Exercise (EFA) intervention is being carried out as part of a study that examines how combining it with Metacognitive Training (EMC) can reduce psychotic symptoms, improve cognitive awareness, and transform participants’ quality of life.
Our pool is much more than water — it is:
- a space for growth
- community
- integration
- real opportunities for well-being
This project brings together hospitals and leading reference centers from across the country, and we are proud that CEM Colom has been chosen as a collaborating center.
We continue working to ensure that sport is a driving force for health and inclusion.
