Projects
Lleuresport promotes and manages community and health promotion projects that use physical activity as a tool for prevention, well-being, inclusion, and social cohesion. These projects are developed in collaboration with public administrations and local stakeholders, and are open to the general public.
L’Hospitalet Camina
Municipal program of healthy walks organized by the City Council of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, with the aim of promoting regular physical activity as a tool for disease prevention and health improvement.
The walks take place once a month, with routes ranging from 6 to 9 km, and include transportation to nearby municipalities. The program includes specialist hiking guides, insurance coverage, and health support.
Participation is free of charge, with quarterly registration, and is open to the entire adult population.
Summer Tai Chi program in the parks
Free outdoor physical activity program organized by the Physical Activity and Sports Service of the City Council of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, carried out during the months of June and July.
The sessions take place in five city parks: Can Cluset, La Remunta, Bellvitge, L’Alhambra, and Les Planes.
No prior registration is required, and the activity is open to all citizens.
Tai chi helps improve balance, flexibility, concentration, and coordination, promoting physical and mental well-being.
Walking program for older adults
Program promoted by the Barcelona Provincial Council with the aim of encouraging physical activity, health, and social interaction among older adults, while also showcasing the territory of the province.
The routes are gentle and accessible, with distances ranging from 8 to 10 km, adapted to the abilities of the group.
L’Hospitalet de Llobregat participates in the program with two municipal groups in the Nordic walking modality.
The program promotes active aging, socialization, and the improvement of physical and mental health.
Camina, fes salut i coneix L’Hospitalet
Municipal program organized by the Health Service of the City Council of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat that combines healthy walks with guided visits to unique spaces in the city.
The outings take place monthly, with accessible, non-competitive routes ranging from 4 to 7 km and a pace adapted to the group. Each activity lasts approximately two hours, including the cultural visit.
The program is especially aimed at people with chronic illnesses (diabetes, obesity, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, or mental health conditions), although it is open to all citizens.
Registration is carried out through the city’s Primary Care Centers (CAP).
Community dance workshops
Physical activity and community engagement program aimed at the general public, with the objective of fostering neighborhood cohesion, social participation, and active lifestyles through dance.
The sessions take place in public spaces, led by specialized instructors, and are designed to be accessible, open, and non-competitive, encouraging interaction among neighbors of different ages.
The project is developed in collaboration with the Office of the Integral Urban Regeneration Plan Les Planes – Blocs Florida, and is carried out in Plaça de la Llibertat, with free access and no prior registration required.
Women and sport
Municipal program promoted by the Physical Activity and Sports Service of the City Council of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, aimed at encouraging the practice of physical activity among women, taking into account different life stages, realities, and specific needs.
The project offers adapted, accessible, and inclusive physical activities, with the goal of promoting healthy habits, personal autonomy, and equal opportunities in access to sport. Dones i Esport helps improve the physical and emotional health of participants, while also strengthening social networks and community well-being.
